Work samples!

I’ve been very lucky to work on some really fun projects over the years. And also some real duds — but I learned a lot from those.

Scroll through for a peek at a few of them that I’d love to show you.

All of this work was a huge team effort, which is why you’ll see “we” instead of “I”. If you were part of any of these projects, thank you for your collaboration!!

As I’m sure you know, many details can’t be shared publicly. But send me a note if you want more details, and I’ll share what I can :)

It’s a Wild Nuggies world and we’re all just eating in it

Why make plant-based dino nuggies when you could make shaped nuggets shaped like animals whose existence is threatened by climate change? As we were launching Wild Nuggies at Impossible Foods, we wanted to make sure they appealed to children and their parents so that we could help families have constructive, hopeful conversations about how to save the planet.

Crack open your wildest dreams

Budweiser needed to share the good news about their new Bud Zero with their target audience in a way that destigmatized non-alcoholic beer. So we decided to bring people’s wildest dreams from 0-100 by adding a couple zeros – Bud Zeros. The main reason people like non-alcoholic beer is the enjoyment of the refreshing taste without the effects of being drunk and hungover, so we wanted to show how fun life can be when you focus on the positive and zero out the negative.

No stunts. Just solutions.

We had groundbreaking research from Impossible’s founder, which we wanted to release in a way that built credibility among the science and climate communities as well as a drove awareness for our mission among our foodie community. So, in a world of performative Earth Month stunts, we decided to boldly proclaim that we don’t have one – we just have a solution. (Read all about it here!)

Dissolving discrimination through human connection

At the Ad Council, we shifted perceptions about LGBT inequality with a campaign called Beyond I Do that shared stories of still-legal discrimination through op eds in niche publications and a Good Morning America segment.

Caution: Don’t lick the screen

We wanted to constantly inspire our Impossible Foods community with new recipes and culinary ideas, but needed to make sure our content stood out in an overwhelming sea of social media recipe videos. So we decided to make the food look so good, so dreamy, so yummy that you want to eat it off the screen.
